Planning our trip we all know our budget and we all want as better accomodation as it possible for the sum we plan to spend. Wherever we travel we want our accomodation to be 1) safe, 2) convenient (hot water, wc, etc.) and 3) nice. And this statement seems to be the same for travelers of all budgets. And we all know that there's no other place one can find as much attention, personal care, comfort but either small private hotel or private apartment. Apart of me, guide and author of this web, in our team there are many good people - flat owners, who kindly provide travelers with nice rooms and flats. We've been working together for the last two years and were very pleased to always get good responses from our guests. In this chapter there are descriptions (pictures and plans will come soon) of some flats in Moscow. Some of them are right in the historical center and are good competitors to the really expensive central hotels, the others are less than 15 minutes from the center by metro (which is not bad for Moscow distances). Shops, supermarkets and cafes are nearby. Reasonable walk distance from metro station (1-7 minutes). Some of the flats have Internet access. Prices are 20-150 USD/night depending upon location toward the center of the city, number of rooms and guests living in. Nice moment in renting a private apartment is the fact that you save your money by cooking and washing at your temprary home and also on telephone calls (from a flat they are free for Moscow calls and are MUCH cheaper for internatonal calls comparing to hotels' rates).Terms of payment for flat rent are simple - no payments much in advance, you pay cash (roubles, USD or any European currency) in your first day in a flat for all period you plan to stay. Though if cash by this or that reason is not convenient for you other ways to pay may be discussed. So, general conditions in Moscow flats offered are:

TO SPECIAL ATTENTION OF BUDGET TRAVELERS : A separate chapter about Bed & Breakfast basis and living within a Russian Family appear soon (though the net of families exists at least for the last 2 years). This should be an interest to budget travellers and also could be an interesting experience for those who want to be hospitable met and live in a family as its member. All families are English or German-speaking. Price is competitive to the Moscow hostels - 15-20$/night for 1 person and 20-28$/night for two of you, but you'll have your own separate 1 or 2 rooms instead of 5 beds dorm (as it is in the most popular hostel in Moscow).
